“But the pool on the hill sees the sun going down, And the eyes in his head, See the world spinning round” …. The Beatles said it best when looking at a pool on a hill, but this client is no fool! They wanted a functional update of their yard with a wonderful view on a man-made lake. Using the pool as the primary feature of the view from every window in the house and amazing places to sit and watch the world go by. This is a great example of a vintage Aqua-Tech pool that has stood the test of time. In one of the photos, you can see the concrete deck sitting level off the ground because of the support piers that we implement in construction.

Project Scope
1. Rico Rock Waterfall
One of the simplest features to add to your pool to add value and extra is a water feature. The sound of running water is proven to relax and sooth the person and, we all know one or two kids who would just love to jump off the added height and play under the stream!
2. All new stamped concrete deck and matching stairs right from the back door
Don’t overlook the concrete decking around your pool! There are many ways to amplify the luxury feel of your pool through small detail in your decking. In this project we stamped or added a textured finish to the concrete and colored it to the client’s choice.
3. Retaining wall
Creating a polished border and edging to the area, we added a retaining wall to complement the grading of the yard. Retaining walls function as an excellent transition from your yard into your pool area.
4. Vanishing Edge Feature
A vanishing edge can be built into the circulation of your pool and adds an extreme luxury and endless feel to your pool.
5. Full landscape redesign for functional seating areas on 2 tiers
This original yard had a high grade and was mostly grass. This client wanted it transformed into a total backyard entertainment area. We transformed the grade into 2 zones one for the pool and one for resting and relaxing looking out over the nearby river.

Great question! Most people like to change their pool liner in the spring as it effects the pool usage least….or so they think! The best time for your pool structure is to replace the pool liner in the heat of the summer when the ground conditions are dry and stable. The process is pretty fast and we can easily accommodate this when your family is at the cottage for a couple days. Other than that, an autumn liner replacement works great for many folks. The great news is that we change pool liners April into October so there is lots of time to get you and your family swimming
There is a lot of steps that go into changing your pool liner. What most people find surprising is that more than half of them occur before we even start to drain the water from your pool. What we find on average is that from the day the existing pool is drained until the day you are able to swim again is about 7 days.
