This pool got all the modern upgrades and a whole new life for a young family with a shape change, new coloured patterned stamped concrete decking and walk in stairs.

Project Scope
1. New 16g galvanized steel walls.
Even the steel walls of an existing pool can be upgraded and replaced. This client wanted to change the shape of their pool and we reinforced the entire structure with high grade new steel walls, protecting their investment and ensuring the longest time of enjoying their pool.
2. Stamped and coloured concrete deck on piles
Don’t overlook the concrete decking around your pool! There are many ways to amplify the luxury feel of your pool through small detail in your decking. In this project we stamped or added a textured finish to the concrete and colored it to the client’s choice.
3. Co-extruded Thermoplastic walk-in step
Previously there was no staircase to this pool. A staircase was added in the direction of the backdoor to create a direct pathway from the home into the pool and back again. Stairs are a great way add an extra area to your pool to sit, rest and relax, or for the little ones to play and splash.
4. New skimmer and circulation system
When you are renovating your pool, there is never an easier time to upgrade or replace the interior parts that make water what it is. Upgraded to fresh modern technology this client is ensured of lower maintenance costs, greener reduced energy usage and a longer last life of their pool.
5. Cantilever Concrete coping style
Coping is where the edge of your pool meets the edge of your deck. Nothing will date your pool faster than the white plastic coping that was popular to join pool and decking. For this client we used concrete engineering techniques to bring the concrete decking over the pool edge and create an extremely smooth finish to the touch and to the eye.

Great question! Most people like to change their pool liner in the spring as it effects the pool usage least….or so they think! The best time for your pool structure is to replace the pool liner in the heat of the summer when the ground conditions are dry and stable. The process is pretty fast and we can easily accommodate this when your family is at the cottage for a couple days. Other than that, an autumn liner replacement works great for many folks. The great news is that we change pool liners April into October so there is lots of time to get you and your family swimming
There is a lot of steps that go into changing your pool liner. What most people find surprising is that more than half of them occur before we even start to drain the water from your pool. What we find on average is that from the day the existing pool is drained until the day you are able to swim again is about 7 days.
