What happens when you close a cloudy or green pool?
A pool doesn’t simply stop changing once that winter cover goes on. If algae is present when closing the pool, it can remain in the water throughout winter. Organic debris and contaminants can also contribute to water-quality problems. When the pool is opened again in the spring, these issues may have had months to develop.
