As Janet Jackson so eloquently put it “Opposites attract”. Most couples have differing tastes and will compromise on certain points so both parties are happy. Then there are rare times like this where each person gets EXACTLY what they want. This was achieved by doing His & Hers Bathrooms. Yes, you read that right, His and Hers bathrooms.
His and Her bathrooms, a dream that became a reality. That’s what we do here at Aqua Tech, we make your dreams come true. So let’s get to work!
We start with the upstairs bathroom, or as it is now known, HERS. While it was still just the “upstairs bathroom” it had a big ugly corner tub that no one used and the room had one of the most awkward layouts we had ever seen. We needed to make it hers, and she wanted to replace the tub with a nice big shower, plenty of storage and open shelving to display her keepsakes.
The awkward shape of the room posed a challenge but nothing we couldn’t handle. A massive, double door shower was crafted to fit into the space that the ugly tub once occupied. The weird windows were replaced with frosted, waterproof panes to maximize privacy and match the rooms design. After stepping out of the shower onto the heated floors, the heated towel rack was installed just an arm’s length away. The storage area consisted of multiple levels of storage and a built in bench. And of course, the open shelving for her to give her bathroom that personal touch.
The Husband needed his own space as well. And boy the space he got is pretty much any man’s dream. In the basement was HIS man-cave and off it was a long, boring bathroom. He needed a bathroom to complete his ultimate man-cave. He needed his very own steam shower. Working with the limited space wasn’t a problem for us. In the end we created a masterpiece in the form of a steam shower room with heated floors and bench that was long enough to move around in. After a nice long, relaxing steam session all he had to do was turn on the over-head shower and rinse off. The Master Man-Cave en-suite was complete!
