Pump and pressure

Every time we turn off pump and clean then turn back on there is no pressure. What are we doing wrong

    Hi Darcia. If you are shutting off the pump to clean out the trap basket you want to close the ball valve in front of the pump right after you shut off the power to the pump. This will hold the prime in the pump while you clean out the basket. Be sure to open the valve just before you turn on the power to the pump again.
