Code SN 1

the cose SN 1 showed up about a week and a hlf ago. I purchased a new filter and put it in. Afterwards, the code dissapeared and all was good. Four days ago, the same sode reapeared (SN 1). Any suggestions as to what i should try next? The tub is starting to cost me quite alot as of late….IN the spring, I put a new water heater in, and about three weeks ago, I put a new circulating pump in!! Any sort of help would help.

  1. Marc, the SN1 msg means the heater is deactivated and the hi-limit sensor is not functioning. Could be an open or shorted or bad hi-limit sensor. The hi-limit sensor is the one that fits in the heater dry well. If all else fails contact our Sundance Service Support Desk to book a diagnostic and repair of your 2002 Sundance Optima Spa.
