Paul remove logic jumper pin 7-8 to toggle back to degrees F.
I just changed my board which was a 6600-268 to the new replacment 6600-724. The old board had the 7-8 pins, new one i dont see it. Any help??
Brian if it is a Genuine Sundance Spas PWA it will have a set of jumper pins just to the left of where you plug in the topside control.
Jumper 1-2 on enables 15 amp logic, Jumper 1-2 on enables 30 amp logic, Jumper 1-2 off enables 40 amp logic
Jumper 3-4 on not used, Jumper 3-4 off enables 1 pump operation
Jumper 7-8 on enables Celsius temperature display
Jumper 7-8 off enables Fahrenheit display
This genuine board also has surface mount terminals for the heater where you old PWA likely did not.
changing pool celsius to fahrenheit.
Hi Nile. Which model/make of controller are you trying to switch from Celsius to Fahrenheit?
We replaced our mother board and now the hot tub is reading is Celsius. We have a Masterspa Downeaster. Any ideas how to switch back to Fahrenheit?
Hi Vicky. The temperature toggle is typically controlled by one of the dip switches in the bank set of switches on a Balboa board in a Downeast spa. If the new board you put in is a direct match for the old one you should be able to follow the schematic on the back of your control box cover. It will indicate which switch toggles from farenheit to celsius. If you purchased an offshore board you may have to contact who you purchased it from if the bank of switches don’t match your old board. It’s recommended to reset persistent memory as well after changing a dip switch if it’s a genuine Balboa board.
I have the same problem with a 2009 hotsprings Prodigy. I replaced the old board with a new board I bought direct from hotsprings, but now the temp. Is in celcius and theres no way to change it back to Fahrenheit from the topside control. Any ideas? Thanks for the help
Hi Jacob. If your Prodigy has the proprietary Watkins controller you should be able to adjust one of the board jumpers to toggle between Celsius and Fahrenheit. Typically the schematic on the back of the controller cover will tell you which jumper. If they switch to a Balboa system already on yours you will be able to toggle one of the dip switches in the dip switch bank. The back of the controller cover will also tell you which dip switch to move.
I have an Apollo Spas Cascade model from around 2013 or 2014. We lost power and the display changed from °F to °C. I don’t do the math so good any more so converting on the fly suuuuux. How do I Americanize it again? It has happened before and I forgot the button sequence to push.
Hi Steven. Is it a Gecko controller or a Balboa controller on that Arctic spa?
How can I change my Beachcomber 590 from Fahrenheit to Celsius???
Hi Dave. Does your Beachcomber have a Balboa controller box?
Hi Nigel, it is a Balboa. Sorry, it isn’t allowing me to reply so I have to this way.
Dave, on the back of your control box cover there is a schematic. It shows where all your dip switch setting are and the function they perform. There is dip switch for Fahrenheit/Celsius there.
Changed our mother board on a Sundance and now it is reading Celsius? We need Fahrenheit
Hi Matt. What is the part number of the board you purchased?
I have a J345 Jacuzzi brand manufactured in 2004. Changed circuit board, now in celcius. My control panel on top only has 5 buttons ( 1- +, 2 –, 3- light, 4- 1st pump, 5- 2nd pump). The J300 series manual doesn’t cover changing to Fahrenheit.
Hi Nathaniel. The temperature conversion setting is done through the PWA jumpers. If you give me the part number of your PWA I may be able to help. Alternatively the person who replaced your PWA should be able to set the jumper for you.

Jumper 7-8 on will give you celsius reading. Jumper off will give you Fahrenheit.
I have board #6600-726 on a Sweetwater Bahia Spa. How do I switch to Farenheit?
Removing the jumper pin on pins 7-8 should get you Fahrenheit readout Mike.

I have a leisure bay G2 spa. Temp is reading celcius. How can I change it to Fahrenheit?
Is it a Balboa model spa pak controller that you have?
If you take off the front cover of your controller there should be a schematic on the back of the cover. It should show a set of 10 dip switches that correlate to your circuit board. One of the dip switches is a toggle between Celsius and Fahrenheit.
