I have a 2004 ultama, purchased used, just wired it up and the padlock and locked word are staying on the screen.
I’ve tried the key combo of display-mode-down and it will blink the locked word.

Shawn if you tried the programming sequence and that didn’t pull it out of Lock mode and you have just wired up the spa you would want to check your wiring. You may be only giving the spa 120vac and you may have miswired things on your initial install. If you have a 2004 Altamar it needs to be wired 240vac. If all else fails contact our Service Support Desk to book a diagnostic and repair of your spa or to recommend a licensed electrician in our area.
