Pump clicking on and off on its own

We have an older model Sundance Optima at our cottage. The hot tub is set to standard mode. Today the pumps started and stopped repeatedly. The pumps would try to stop and you would hear a click and then they would turn off. It was only on the one set of jets (foot jets) when I manually try to turn off the jets it will automatically click back on and off and on and off again

The other set of jets seem to be working with no problem and don’t seem to be trying to start on their own.

I don’t know how to tell if this is part of its circulation cycle because there isn’t the typical display saying “cycle 1” etc…

I don’t have any errors and when I opened it the tub was a bit murky because it hasn’t been cycling properly since yesterday.

I have a few videos if it will help.

  1. Jocelyn, try disconnecting your remote topside control panel from the main topside control panel. The connection is down below the Sentry control box in the sensor loom area. If all else fails contact our Sundance Service Support Desk to book a diagnostic and repair of your Sundance Optima spa.

  2. we emptied the hot tub after using it and filled it up and set the temperature overnight and it heated to 32 then is now showing flo all the pumps work just not heating any more any ideas

    1. Linda what make and model spa do you have? What is the year built of the spa? Usually there is a nameplate near the main control box.
