Darcy the service manual for the Maxetherm heater does not recognize that as a valid error msg. Is it possible that the LED symbols are broken on the screen? Sometimes the symbols can be broken up and the heater still has functionality. If all else fails contact your local Sta-Rite Service Support Desk to book a diagnostic and repair of your Maxetherm heater.

Heater shows a yellow LED 11 code on my Sta rite heater gas comes on fan comes on but no ignition. What does this mean? Aqua tech made the pool and sold this equipment so I will start with you guys for info.
Can you smell gas 20 seconds after the combustion blower fan turns on Kevin?
Yes I can smell gas.
Could be an issue with the igniter. Could also be a combustion chamber full of water if the heater fails to obtain ignition. These are just two items that could be where the problem lies.
More likely the igniter not working. Who do I contact to get a tech down to look at it.
