how to change sand in cristal flo filter

the top of my filter is off but i can’t scoop our the sand – what do i do?

    Hi Kim. We usually scoop out enough til we can tip the filter on its side til we can scoop out the rest.
    If you have a good shop vac with a decent filter that is also another good way. Careful not to vacuum out
    too much at once that you burn out your vacuum.
