I am blowing out my lines for the winter. The length from my equipment to my pool is about 80 feet. How much horsepower do I need for a blower to blow out the lines? What horsepower blower does the aqua-techies use?

Darcy, the Aqua-Tech service department does not use generic blowers that are rated in horsepower ( ie: the style you may see in a Home Depot for blowing leaves or vacuuming debirs.) Moving water from underground lines requires high volume while producing low pressure. Typically 160 inches of vacuum water lift ( this is one of the ratings on moving water with air) can be used. Removing water can be a bit tricky as it is quite easy for air to pass over water in a pipe.
