Victor what is the make and model of your spa and what is the date built? All of this info can be found on the label above the Sentry Control Box.

I have the same issue wth a 2004 Sundance optima. We wired it up, turned it on and nothing. The electrician checked the wires and power is going to the unit. Looks like there is one blown fuse, but that’s it. What else could it be?

Jeff you should have 240vac +/- 10% at the TB1 block terminal. If you don’t you have an issue with the electrical coming from your GFCI.
If your main 30amp buss fuse is faulty you need to replace this to have functionality at the spa. 30amp fuses can be ordered from our Parts and accessories website. Go to http://www.aqua-tech.ca. Click on parts and accessories then click on the big yellow button for availability.

Looks like the electrician did not connect the green wire to the TB3 terminal (nor is it connected in the spa buddy. Is this needed?

Jeff having your ground wire connected to the Sentry control box and your power feed should be in the electrical code book in your region.

Guess I’ll get a new electrician. Would that cause the issue I’m having?

Possibly but probably not. It would however leave bathers exposed to electrocution. Best to have a licensed electrician in your region check out things or an authorized factory trained Sundance Service Technician.

I have an outback spa model#Z4HNVOL340D4EN I have power to the circuit board but nothing comes on. What can it be?

Hi Gary. Check your main fuse before the board. Check any mini fuses on the board. Check for proper voltage and your transformer in and out. Make sure you power down the spa and remove your fuses to check them for continuity. If this all checks out and you have no readout on your topside check for any breaks between your topside cable and the board. If this all checks out you could have a bad board, temp sensor and or hi limit sensor.

Hi Brad. You’ll need to cut your power supply off and need to cool the water or dilute it ie drain some out and add cold. What make and model spa do you have?
