Hot Tub Leak

Hi,

I have a 2005 Maxxus.

A technician came out to look at my hot tub on wednesday but unfortunately nothing could be done at the time. I continued to dig through the foam and have located the leak. It seems to be coming out from a fitting right at the tub. It is at one of the wrist jets in the lounger and seems to be leaking on all sides of where the pipe/fitting goes into the fiberglass.

I have attached an image showing the connection with the tub.

Thanks

Shane

I already had a technician out on Wednesday. They said to let aqua tech know what I found so they could order the right parts if any are needed. Now that I found the leak I am draining the tub. Should I then try to unscrew that fitting? Would that enable me to pop off the jet and check the O-ring?

Shane the fittings are glued into the back of the jet. If you require replacement parts please visit our online site. If all else fails contact our Sundance Service Support Desk to book a diagnostic and repair of your 2005 Sundance Maxxus Spa.

    Just curious…
Why would you tell me to check the online parts store when the only hot tub parts there are filters and pumps?

I have taken the jet off and pulled the pipe fitting off the fiberglass. There was no gasket or O-ring. Is there supposed to be? Just seemed to be some glue between the PVC and the fiberglass.

Shane this is a text only help site. The online parts area has a spot where you can leave pictures of parts you may require to affect a repair on your Spa. Depending on the month and date built of the spa there may or may not be a gasket and or o-ring. Some jets had self levelling flanges, some just silicone.
