I’ve always enjoyed a good maze. The twists and turns, the dead-ends and having to use your problem solving skills to escape, it’s all very thrilling. That’s what this project reminds me of, a challenging maze. But instead of corn, it was awkward angles and limited space.

Our clients weren’t a fan of mazes. Especially when it came to having to navigate one to get ready in the morning. Following an oddly shaped wall to the end of the room where the prize is a massive tub isn’t exactly thrilling. No one used the tub, like ever so it essentially became a laundry hamper. Getting ready needed to be less of a challenge and more of a rewarding experience. So we got to work.

What once felt like maze of awkward angles and wasted space was now a perfectly symmetrical, gorgeous bathroom. More About This Project

Unique Custom Shower

The oversized laundry hamper tub was ripped out and we began to craft a new shower. To maximize the potential of the space, we created a unique custom shower that used the awkward angles to its advantage. No small detail was spared. The glass wall and door flowed perfectly into the half wall where a heated bench was built inside the shower. The windows were replaced with frosted water-proof panels that increased privacy without taking away any natural light from the space. The rain shower head was placed in the centre of the bulk head that matched the shape of the shower and the beautifully tiled walls seamlessly transitioned into a half wall though out the rest of the room.

Oak Storage Bench

The original vanity cupboards and medicine cabinet were kept in the space as per the client’s request. These inspired us to create the oak bench and storage area in the corner.

New Stone Counter Tops and New Faucets

Brand new stone counter tops and faucets were installed to update the space and match the look of the shower. The matching stainless steel finishes in the shower and on the vanity really brought uniformity to the space.

What should I realistically be looking at for establishing a budget for a complete Bathroom Renovation?

How many subcontractors are going to be working in my house throughout this renovation?

With an Aqua-Tech Bathroom renovation, the work is all completed by our highly trained Installers. The only sub trade we have on site is our Electrician and that is strictly for Insurance purposes.
