Mineraluxe Hot Tubs! Let’s get Started!

Today we giving Mineraluxe some much needed love and attention! <3

Mineraluxe is the only hot tub treatment system that is hypo-allergenic! This means that people who have skin conditions or other health issues can still use the hot tub without being negatively affected by its chemicals! This system is one of the easiest, most natural treatments for your hot tub, and is better then using salts and enzymes.

  1. We are going to start with a deep filter cleanse of the filter cartridge – Use Mineraluxe Filter Revive to thoroughly cleanse the cartridge. Soak the cartridge in a solution of Filter Revive and hot water for best results. Follow label directions. It is also recommended that another treatment be done 3 – 5 days following the initial set up.
  2. Deeply cleanse the system – Use Mineraluxe Cleanse and Drain to deeply cleanse hot tub surfaces of any legacy biofilm, greases, oils, etc.  Cleanse and Drain is added to the hot water prior to it being drained. For the best results apply 24 – 48 hours prior to draining and activate the high speed pump, periodically though this period.
  3. Clean the tub surfaces – Use Dazzle Tub Cleanse to wipe down the accessible surfaces of the tub as well as the underside of the cover.
  4. Refill the hot tub.
  5. Properly balance the hot tub water. Specifically balance the Total Alkalinity, pH and Calcium Hardness to desired levels. If in a high Total Alkalinity area, proceed to the next step after the first addition of Dazzle pH –.
  6. Once the water is balanced add 2 Mineraluxe Cube for hot tubs up to 2000 L in volume.  Apply directly to the skimmer basket or filter compartment with the high speed pump operating. For volumes greater than 2,000 L, apply 1 additional Mineraluxe Cube for each additional 1,000 L.
  7. Immediately following the additional of the Mineraluxe Cube, apply one pouch of Mineraluxe Oxygen per 1.500 L of water. Cut the top of the pouch with sissors and apply by sprinkling across the hot tub water with the high speed pump operating. Leave the cover off for a minimum of 15 minutes.
  8. Test your chlorine and bromine residual an adjust to ensure 3 – 5 ppm. Fast dissolving Mineraluxe Bromine Granules will instantly establish or boost the bromine level when needed. Mineraluxe Chlorine Granules will instantly establish or boost your chlorine level when needed. Once your chlorine or bromine residual is established apply Mineraluxe Bromine Tablets or Mini Chlorinating Tablets to a floater or alternate feed method to maintain the desired level continuously. Remember, the Mineraluxe system will reduce the quantity of bromine or chlorine required to maintain 3 – 5 ppm so reduce the quantity of tablets or granules being employed accordingly.
