What I need to know about purchasing a hot tub

All hot tub manufacturers showcase different elements of importance from their own perspective.  Not all hot tubs are the same, nor are they built the same.  This results in various price and quality levels.  The purchase of a hot tub is just one step, so what comes next?  Servicing a hot tub is a very important aspect to consider while shopping around.  Moving parts, electronics, pumps, and seals are only a few components to a hot tub, and with time will need to be serviced.  This will expand its longevity so you can enjoy your new hot tub for many years to come.

When purchasing a hot tub where do I find a reputable Dealer who will assist me with all my hot tub needs today and down the road?

Aqua-Tech believes you should have full trust in your hot tub dealer so that they will be there whenever you need them.  Experience, knowledge, and attention to detail are just a few reasons choosing Aqua-Tech is a critical step in your decision making process.  From the ‘shopping around’ stage, to the final decision our Sundance Spa experts are with you every step of the way.  But that’s not where our service stops!  After your purchase, our service and maintenance team are here to ensure your hot tub is properly cared for so you can enjoy a lifetime of relaxation.

Is the hot tub insulated for our climate?

Sundance Spas insulate their hot tubs by spraying full foam insulation under the shell and plumbing lines.  They choose this method because it has proven to offer the best insullation.  With the plumbing lines now being ridged, this reduced leakage problems from occurring in the future.  Sundance Spas 880 and 780 series also provide additional eco-wrap insulation underneath and around the skirting.  This offers a further 25% reduction on your Hydro Costs.

Does my hot tub come with a strong water sanitizer?

Sundance Spas provide the Clear Ray system in all of their spas.  This is the latest technology using the Ultra Violet Blue bulb which neutralizes water-born pathogen killing 99.9% of all bacteria and viruses.  The Clear Ray is not only the most efficient way to clean the water, it also allows you to use sanitizer which is a huge help to those with sensitive skin.

Is hot tub filtration important?

Yes, hot tub filtration is very important and yet again, Sundance Spas lead the industry here.  Sundance Spas have made water care easy when purchasing a hot tub with their patented MicroClean 2- part filtration.  The Sundance 880 & 780 series offer a 20” floating Slipstream skimmer to remove impurities and debris that could otherwise settle on the spa waterline.  The water passes through the Sundance exclusive MicroClean Filters to ensure cleaner water with less maintenance so you have more rest and relaxation time.

Are the type of Jets important in a Hot Tub?

Sundance designs a spa to fit everyone’s uniqueness. Sundance’s exclusive Fluidix jet technology allows you to adjust the pressure for a steady flow or an oscillating massage.  The biggest difference about Fluidix is they operate without bearings that can clog or parts that wear out.  Swirling, pulsing, streaming or penetrating, Sundance Spa jets work to ease virtually any sore muscles you may have.
